I have always felt that we do not always treat older adults and/or members of the “disabled community” with the respect and kindness they deserve and I am hoping to help change that. Finding out I had "serious medical problems" gave me more empathy and led to an even stronger desire to help others. I have always sided with the "underdog" but now that I realize I am one of them I am fighting harder than ever!"
